With this announcement Veeam has included 2 major innovations, 7 new features, and 75 general enhancements. Veeam was already a top choice in my opinion for backing up your virtual environments. They are completely agentless, entirely virtualization focused, and they provide 26 restore options from a single backup. Backup to AWS S3 Calculator

By Nate Reynolds Today we launched our public beta of the Backup to Cloud with AWS estimation tool. With all of the S3 calculators available on the Internet, we’ve been unable to find any that account for the accumulation of data by course of normal backup and retention routines. To that end we leveraged our enterprise storage team to develop a calculator that takes into account data retention frequency of backup and long-term archival using S3’s platform storage tools. Installing WordPress on AWS

Now that we have our AWS infrastructure configured to support a sample WordPress workload (see Part 1 and Part 2 of this series) we can get into installing and configuring WordPress, AWS ElastiCache, and S3 / Glacier backups.
