It's been about 9 months since I published my own set of Visio shapes for VMware vSphere and Horizon View. The VMware Visio stencils have been quite popular, with the pages that host them seeing more than 37,000 page views since I first published them. I've had several customers ask me what options they have for providing redundancy / high availability / load balancing for their VMware View Connection Servers and Security Servers. VMware View does not provide its own load balancing functionality. Update 5/20/2013: This stencil has been updated. Head to my VMware Visio Stencils and Shapes permalink page for the latest version. Yesterday I posted a Visio stencil with some generic VMware icons. I also have put together a Visio stencil for use in diagraming VMware View virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) environments. Lag When Dragging a Window Between Monitors in VMware View

I've had several customers ask me for help with the VMware View environment recently, as their users were complaining about performance issues when dragging a window between monitors in a multi-monitor VMware View setup. VMware Themed Desktop Background Wallpapers

Update: 7/10/2012 - There are now more than 60 VMware desktop background images in the collection. Not all are in the ThemePack yet - I'll refresh that later if people want it.
